Orthodontics for Children, Teens and Adults
Anytime that you want to improve your smile is the right time to visit your orthodontist. Orthodontics is not limited to children and teens, however; approximately one in five orthodontic patients is over the age of 21. The American Association of Orthodontists recommend children see an orthodontist by age seven to advise if orthodontic treatment is required. This is the best time to evaluate any problems and begin early treatment. When treatment is started early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth.
